What To Expect

Day 1 : Arrival at Bagdogra Airport / NJP enroute to Gangtok (130 Kms/5Hrs)

Welcome on arrival at Bagdogra airport/NJP, meet our representative and drive to Gangtok. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. In the evening, you are free to explore the local area.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.

Day 2 : New Baba Mandir – Tosomgo Lake

After breakfast, proceed to Tsomgo Lake (12,210 ft.) and New Baba Mandir, a 40 km drive which takes 2.5 hrs. This lake is located very close to Nathula Pass, (on direct payment basis) which is the entry point to China termed as the “Silk Route” and remains frozen for most parts of the year. The lake is home to the Brahminy ducks and many migratory birds. Nearby is the New Sacred Baba Mandir, which is highly acknowledged for its spiritual worth. In the evening you are free for your own activities.

Note:

In case of a slide or any reason, Tsomgo Lake is closed, so we will provide alternate city sightseeing at Gangtok.
Nathula Pass visit will be on direct payment basis because it depends on availability of permits from the army and subject to weather & road conditions.
Nathula Pass is closed to visitors on Monday and Tuesday.

Day 3 : Gangtok Half Day Local Sightseeing – Darjeeling ( 100 Kms – 3 Hrs Approx )

Morning after breakfast, visit Ganesh Tok, Tashi View Point, Gonzang Monastery, Bakthang Waterfalls, Handicrafts (Handloom) (closed on Sunday), Flower Conservatory (Flower Park), Banjhakri Falls, Do-Drul Chorten Stupa, Namgyal Research Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sunday), and Ropeway (pay yourself).
After sightseeing, transfer to Darjeeling. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel.

Day 4 : Darjeeling Sightseeing

Early morning, proceed to Tiger Hill. Being the highest point of Darjeeling, Tiger Hill offers some of the best sights of the Himalayas, especially early in the morning. Imagine yourself standing in front of the mighty Kanchenjunga Peak, its snow-clad peaks turning golden with the rising sun. Also, visit the incredible Batasia Loop and one of the oldest Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in Darjeeling.Drive back to your hotel for a hearty breakfast. After breakfast, visit Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Peace Pagoda, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (closed on Sunday), and Tenzing Rock.

Day 5 : Darjeeling Departure Proceed to Bagdogra Airport /NJP ( 75 Kms / 3 Hrs)

Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel, and we shall escort you to Bagdogra Airport/NJP.Tour ends with sweet memories…
